Whell… Good gravey… procrastinating really didn’t help me out in getting all my stuff together. But, at long last I have finally gotten all of it in and can start posting my own threads. Sweet. Well, I suppose I’ll start out with a short bio.
My name, as shown by the huge letters on the page, is Ben Appleby-Maguire. I was born in Portland, Maine in 1990 and have lived in Maine for my whole life so far. I became a Christian when I was seven years old and until only recently was decidedly lukewarm in my faith. A few years back, while at a Bible camp, I experienced the Holy Spirit for the first time and it was AWESOME. Since then, I have been growing in my faith, though I still struggle in some areas of my life.
UPDATE: Currently I am at a ski mountain, for those you that are familiar with New England skiing, I’m at Sunday River. I’m here because I absolutely love snowboarding. I’ve been strapping in since i was 13 (so 5 years now) and its one of the few things that I’ve actually stuck with. I’m not that great at park stuff, but really enjoy rippin down the slopes. It’s just… liberating, I guess would be the best way to put it.
I also am an artist. While I do stereotypically doodle in sketchbooks, my true passion in art is in abstract/modern/street art. I’ve sort of combined the three styles into a bizarre and intensely colorful mess of shapes. I also create LEGAL graffiti with a friend of mine, which has heavily influenced my abstract work.
