Hi! My name is Katy and I’m 18 years old. The most important thing about me is that I love Jesus. =] I want everything in my life to be about Him. I was born in Ukraine in a pretty big family (8 siblings =]) I came here, to america when I was 7. Right now I live in Washington State, about an hour south of Seattle. Minus the rain, Washington is extremely beautiful. Of course if it didn’t rain, it probably wouldn’t be that beautiful.. Anyway, my family has been Christian ever since I could remember. As I grew up, I realized that I sin against God and I need forgiveness. So I asked Him to forgive me and come live in me and He has been ever since then. =] It has been a crazy, amazing journey with God! In the beginning of this year, God asked me if I’d like to be a part of something huge that he’s doing (missions) and I said YES! It’s an honor for me to be a part of missions. I got involved with Youth For Christ and went on a mission trip to Botswana through them. It was an unbelievable experience! Since then, God has been leading me more and more into missions. I’m really excited about everything that I’m yet to experience, especially on this trip to Kenya. I’m praying for all of you, team! Can’t wait to meet everyone. Be blessed.
